Background/Bio: Resume of sorts
I started my carreer working in the 3D Animation & Video Industry, where I learned how valuable it is to have a great mentor and work with a great team. Once I started down this path, I decided I should finish school with a concentration in Computer Art. While in School, I met another great teacher…this time he was my teacher. He had been teaching 3D to his students and wanted to take it to another level. We worked together to create a second level where I would teach as a visiting instructor. So now, I’m the teacher. Teaching myself and others more and more about a new and fascinating world…3D computer art. So I finished my bachelors in Computer Art/Animation. I also started an intern program with my two next employers.
In my next job I became a senior animator. We were developing an underwater space camp. Eventually my life took a turn, I ended up working with some people needing some design skills to help build a website. I found that I could still do some pretty interesting things by incorporating my past 3D talents onto the web.
This opened up a new dimension to my life that I did not foresee. I ended up being able to take my video and animation background and offer new and exciting solutions to websites and interactive presentations. Once entering into this dynamic world I was intrigued with all of the different ways to portray information and the way we interact with users.
I found my next job take me to an iconic american company. Here I learned the art of customer needs, customer service and the ability to sell ideas and talents. Meeting some very interesting people some of which I still talk to today.
Needing a challenge, I took on the role of creating a Interactive Department for a small ad agency. Here I learned about the intricacies related to Project Management, Vendor Management, Sales and People Management. We built great production pieces as well as expanded on the Flash/Video/Audio integration. Very Cool!
Since then I have worked at a number of other places in Management positions, honing my skill sets and working with many people whom I still keep in contact with and admire. A few of them are the people you see here. YourWebTeam.com
